The Coaching Process

Many are interested in coaching services. You are intrigued by what could be. But you don’t know what you don’t know, and that scares you.

First off, coaching IS NOT therapy. I am not a mental health professional and I am not here to counsel you. We are all on a journey right now. I am here to “coach” you through your journey.

Where are you on your journey? Are you where you want to be? Did you think you would be better off or happier at this stage in your life or career?

My coaching service begins with a simple chat, usually over coffee or lunch. (That’s not scary, right?) My goal is to get to know you and for you to know me. If we connect, great! But if we don’t, I’ll recommend someone who is better suited for you.

Together, we come up with a coaching schedule. When, where and how often. It’s up to you. I create a development plan customized to your needs and your comfort level. This is important. As a coach, I am here to help you develop into who or what you want to be. Sometimes this means facing internal challenges, doubts or fears we have about ourselves. It’s okay. I will never push you further than you are comfortable with. And you can always speak up or adjust your plan.

You will work through your development plan on your own or together with me, depending on your comfort level. For some people, the activities we do are just a review and they are happily surprised to learn something new about themselves.

Coaching will help you gain a better understanding of yourself and of what you want from your life and your career. My services have helped clients reach higher salaries and gain a better work-life balance.
