About The Grateful Showcase

For the month of November on Random Ramblings, Samm will be sharing four individuals from her Mental Advisory Board. This concept of a Mental Advisory Board is only made possible by the evolution of the Internet. The power of the Internet has made it possible for anyone to connect. Not only can we connect with them regardless of how close or far they are, but we can connect with them in a way that we feel like we truly know them. To Samm, it’s almost like the Pop Star Craze that she went through in the late 90s/early 2000s, where we had the ability primarily through TV and Magazines to feel like we knew these individuals. She felt like she is the one Pop Star X should marry because she knew she was the perfect girl for him. Media allowed us to develop essentially these intimate one-sided relationships. Now, let us be clear that does not mean she wants to marry these individuals she will be sharing. However, she has developed what feels to almost be a very close one-sided relationship. She says one-sided, because they don’t know her and possibly don’t even know exists, yet she has a massive amount of trust in each of them. Samm can confidently say that they provide an enormous amount of value to her professionally and personally. Therefore, first off let’s say thank you to the powerful mediums of blogs, podcasts and video – that made the entire Mental Advisory Board possible.
